I went walking along the Green Belt by the Snake River looking for signs of spring. I found some good ones, and they are my Weekly Winners.

The ice is completely gone, but the run-off hasn’t started in earnest yet. When it does those rocks will be underwater. It’s early spring along the Snake River.
Birds and people are out in force to take advantage of the sunshine and warmer weather.
I don’t know how this guy thinks he’s going to fish with all the ducks, geese, and seagulls, but he’s checking out the equipment.
When the run-off comes I’m sure it will wash this old snag away.
I don’t know why the ducks and geese line up and stand on the edge of the weir. It’s a sure sign of spring when you see them there.
