On the Weight-Loss Ticker: I have decided to break my weight-loss goals down into smaller, more manageable interim goals. I think this will help to keep me motivated. Once I have reached the current goal, I will reassess and set a goal for the next phase of the program. I really think I need the reinforcement of small successes along the way to a big change.

The Exercise Ticker is a challenge to do 20 combined lunges and/or squats (I prefer the term plie’) per day for 60 days.

The Cumulative Steps is a goal of 3000 steps per day during the month of February. Again, at the end of this month I will reassess the situation and set a new goal for March. I use a pedometer to count my steps.

I have been having some health problems again for a few days. (Same old embarrassing complaint.) I’ve missed getting my steps in. Today seems to be better. Hoping for good things tomorrow.

I have this morning signed up for the National President’s Challenge. It is a 6-week challenge in increasing our physical activity. One more motivation, one more accountability to keep moving and get fit. Click on the button in the side bar for more information, and then sign up, join the nation in getting fit.
