Weekly Winners March 30 – April 5

Posted by adamswife on April 6, 2008

We had a very nice day on Thursday. As these are rare the kids and I decided to go out and enjoy the sunshine. We took a walk through the neighborhood, snapping pictures as we went. These are the pictures we took.

Cute pics of the kids! The pics of what you saw are neat 🙂

I like the photos, and the story they tell.
That bicycle looks very interesting too.

**I saw the bicycle as we were passing a neighbor’s yard. I was so intrigued that I had to trespass and get a close-up view. Then, of course, I had to have a picture. 🙂

  3. Love that old bike-plant holder! I saw one just like it that I want to buy for our front garden!

Thanks for taking us along on your walk! It looked like a beautiful day.

Looks like ya had a good time Eve! Hey there is no snow on the ground LOL! Ya gotta be loving that, awesome photos! Hope your weekend is going awesome!! 😀

**Yes, I am loving the lack of snow. There is a bit of snow left in the shady spots along the north side of houses. We saw one lady shoveling the snow out of the shade and throwing it onto the lawn in the sun so it would melt. I would love to have taken a picture, but it didn’t seem appropriate.

Oh how sweet to have no snow! Loved the pictures. Loved the flowers. Almost all the snow is gone on our front lawn. I am just itching to rake and clean it all up. I would love a gumbo recipe. I love okra.

  8. Love the purple flowers peeking out of the ground!

Thanks for that lovely walk Eve, it felt as if I was walking along with you! I love the bike, and spring is finding it’s way now is it? All of the snow has gone, now you’ll be able to go out more!

  10. Are those your grandchildren? They are so precious.

Love the bucket full of flowers shot!

**Yes, those are my grandchildren. They are, for the most part, great kids. We had a lot of fun while their folks were out of town. If the weather had stayed nice it would have been even more fun.

  11. It’s fun to see photos of the grandkids and I’m thrilled to see flowers blooming for you finally! Guess Spring’s coming finally ;–)
    Hugs and blessings,

  12. what precious pics! Your grandchildren are so darling 🙂 Looks like it’s still a wee bit chilly there.
