Veterans’ Day

Posted by adamswife on November 11, 2007

Faith in America

This is one of the days set aside in our country each year to honor our veterans.  My father served in WWII; my husband served for 20 years during Korea and VietNam; my brother did a stint as well.  Each of these men was proud of his service time and honored to wear the uniform of the United States armed services.  Many have served in times of war and peace, have given their lives, their love, their time, and their talents, have sacrificed time with their own families and children to help protect and serve other families in need.  Today we say “Thank you” not only to our soldiers and sailors but to their wives, children, mothers, and fathers who have sacrificed for all of us.
