Okay, the nearest book of at least 123 pages is by Sheri Dew, God Wants a Powerful People. Fifth sentence and next three sentences.

So contentious and confusing were the claims of various ministers and religions to the boy Joseph that he found it impossible “for a person young as I was, and so unacquainted with men and things, to come to any certain conclusion who was right and who was wrong” (JS-H 1:8). After reading the familiar passage in James, Joseph realized he must “either remain in darkness and confusion, or else . . . do as James directs, that is, ask of God” (JS-H 1:13), which he did, with life-changing, even dispensation-inaugurating results.

There would be subsequent times when he would experience anew the impact of contention.

My Valentine Obsession

I got some really cute Valentine pics and I wanted to share them.  I’m like a little kid – I love the corny Valentine cards and wishes.
